This is the website of the local Los Angeles Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society. The Los Angeles Chapter membership includes over three hundred individuals including organizations from a diverse cross section of industry and service providers. Besides information about the organization and membership benefits, the website includes resources for California and Los Angeles specific risk and insurance issues.

The Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing the practice of risk management, a professional discipline that protects physical, financial and human resources. Founded in 1950, RIMS represents nearly 4,000 industrial, service, nonprofit, charitable, and governmental entities. The Society serves over 10,000 risk management professionals around the world.
